About Auggie & Lacey

Woof! I'm Auggie, a Golden Doodle with a nose for adventure and a serious passion for dog parks. My mom Lacey and I used to spend weekends driving around trying to find new parks to explore, but we could never find a good resource that told us what to expect before we got there.

Was the park fenced? Did it have water? Would I be separated from the big dogs? (I'm a medium-sized guy, so this matters!) We were always guessing.

So Lacey said, “Why don't we build one ourselves?” And just like that, Doggie Park Near Me was born. Now we travel to dog parks, review them, and share everything we learn so you and your pup can have the best park day possible.

It all started at our home park — the Harlingen Rotary Bark Park in South Texas. That place is seriously pawsome. Lacey and I go there every chance we get, and every visit reminds us why dog parks matter so much.

The Harlingen Rotary Bark Park set the bar high for us, and it inspired everything we do here.
